Volume II in the fantasy quest series The Book of Tongues. Kick back and delve deep into this big-read fantasy quest of impossible enemies, tangled hearts and wonky spells…
Perfect for fans of Holly Black, Sarah J. Maas and Leigh Bardugo
Fiamma, Hurth and Akabril fly dragonback to the frozen wastes of the north in search of the origins of the Book of Tongues, pursued by the vengeful Spellworker. But what they find there is more dangerous than magic… and more incredible than any of them could have imagined.
PREVIOUSLY, ON BOOK OF TONGUES…
My name is Princess Fiamma.
I am Last of the Seven, Guardian of the most magickal Book of Tongues.
My home is under attack from the Spellworker and his Norda army.
The Book of Tongues must not fall into his hands.
So I shall carry the Book through high mountains, across land and sea, to the distant Weralph Isles…
‘But, Princess, we don’t even know if the Weralph Isles exist.’
‘Shut up, Hurth.’
Hurth is my bodyguard.
He has the honour of accompanying me on this epic and dangerous quest.
He is also a massive pain in my royal butt.
But then there’s the exiled Prince Akabril.
Oh my… (fans hot cheeks)
Not to mention the goats. And a few dragons. Because why not?
One girl must undertake a perilous journey across enemy territory to deliver the Book of Tongues to its mythical place of origin and thereby save her homeland. Prophecy demands it.
But could prophecy be wrong?
